Personal Changes
This week has been difficult—and different. I had somewhat of an emergency situation happen, but that isn’t something I want to focus on. I wish I had more to talk about this week, but I will say that my next book should be published on time. Last week, I mentioned that I had set my book aside for the time being until I could afford my own ISBN. Well, turns out that I should be able to afford it now, so I’m currently continuing to work on Love, and I will keep you all updated on the publishing date, including when I’ll need ARC readers. I have decided that I will be sending out physical copies for ARC readers, so if you’re interested, keep in mind that it will be a physical copy.
I created a Fiverr account! It’s available ajhotz | Articles & Blog Posts | Fiverr if you’re interested in written work from me.
My next album review has also been posted to my Medium account that you can access: The Hazards of Love: A Tale of Love and Tragedy | by AJ Hotz | Sep, 2024 | Medium
Although, because of my emergency situation earlier this week, I do not have prepared the articles that I had planned to have prepared, nor have I scheduled everything accordingly for this upcoming week in my To-Do Reminder app. But I will get back on track with everything as soon as I can.
Unfortunately, I don’t have many reading recommendations this week, simply because of my emergency of course, but I do have a few articles that I read this week on Medium that have really stood out to me. Below, if you’re interested, but keep in mind, these are member-only articles:

Again, I know, I know, because of my emergency, I am still in the process of reading If He Had Been With Me by Laura Nowlin. It is excellent, but I have been struggling to get back into reading it, simply because of everything that’s been happening.
Recent Finds Unrelated to Reading
I had my interview with Lindy Vision, and I will start reaching out to publications shortly for the article. This emergency has gotten in the way of many of my plans, including starting to write this feature piece, however, I am always one to look at the bright side, and I’m hoping that there is a beneficial reason that this has happened. Honestly, I have already seen some benefits, even with how scary it was.
I plan to keep you all updated with this article and when it will be published.

I haven’t felt much like myself this week, because of obvious reasons, but hopefully things will get back to a better-than-normal state. I haven’t watched anything new, nor have I wanted to watch anything hardly at all. If I could just sit and not do anything in a silent room and just reflect this week, I would.
